What is the Haltech TCU?

A transmission control unit manages the automatic transmission in an engine swap: shift scheduling, clutch or solenoid control, torque handling and driveline protection. The Haltech TCU is being developed for this role, and Haltech engine management is already widely used across 8HP and other swap platforms.

Will it work with the ZF 8HP? Haltech engine management is established in the 8HP swap space. Final 8HP compatibility will be confirmed against the released specifications.
