What this calculator is for

An 8HP swap is not one part number. The right package depends on engine family, power target, driveline layout, controller strategy and cooling. This page turns those inputs into a clear parts shortlist.

Calculator inputs

  • Engine platform — e.g. BMW N54/N55/B58/S55, Nissan RB, Toyota JZ, LS/V8, or other
  • Vehicle chassis — make, model, year and RWD/AWD layout
  • Power and torque target — current and planned wheel or crank figures

  • Budget level — gearbox-only, complete kit, or turnkey support
  • Controller preference — factory TCU strategy, standalone controller, harness needs
