The CHP Hydro Handbrake is a hydraulic handbrake assembly built for motorsport and performance applications where a mechanical cable park-brake just will not cut it. Pull the lever and you drive a proper hydraulic master cylinder — progressive, powerful, and tunable for drift, rally, time attack, or street-legal fun.

Why hydraulic

Unlike a cable handbrake, a hydro setup pushes brake fluid through a dedicated circuit (typically rear calipers or a dedicated handbrake caliper). That means:

Stronger, more consistent lock-up under heat and load
Better modulation for clutch-kick entries and sustained slides
No stretched cables or sticky guides when the car is thrashing
